1.) Implant Reconstruction to Replace All the Teeth in the Upper Jaw (Arch)
People who have lost all their teeth in either the upper or lower jaw can now have these teeth replaced with dental implants. Many people are not happy with removable bridgework or dentures due to their inability to chew adequately or speak comfortably. Dental implants restore your ability to function far beyond a removable prosthesis.

and failing upper teeth teeth and augmentation of the sinus areas.

Interim x-ray, showing most implants in place and most of the failing teeth removed.
When these pictures are taken the lips are retracted to expose as much of the teeth and gums as possible for photographic purposes. Generally, only the edges of the teeth show as people smile and speak. This gives a very cosmetic and natural appearance for the final bridgework, especially in relation to how patients present.
New temporary restorations are now placed which look and function very similar to the final bridgework. The lips cover all but the edge of the teeth.
Final “Permanent” Bridgework 5 Years Later
The patient has had the bridgework and has been functioning excellently for over 8 years.

Restoration of upper teeth with dental implants is one of the most difficult courses of treatment. This is one
of the strengths of our practice and is currently the main focus, when Dr. Damascus lectures.
2.) Implant Reconstruction to Replace All the Teeth in the Lower Jaw (Arch)
People who have lost all their teeth in either an upper or lower jaw can now have these teeth replaced with dental implants. Many people are not happy with removable bridgework due to their inability to chew adequately or speak comfortably. This is especially true of the lower jaw where the teeth almost come out when a person speaks. Dental implants restore your ability to function far beyond a removable prosthesis.
Patient has only a few remaining and failing lower teeth. She was wearing a removable denture and was not happy with the way it
appeared or functioned. Her teeth were failing and they were not comfortable.
Following the placement of six dental implants, the patient was able to have full arch replacement with permanent teeth.
