1.) Laser Treatment to Reduce Swollen
“Gums”
Pre-op picture displaying swollen and
infected gum tissues

Post-operative
picture 2 weeks after laser treatment showing the excellent resolution of the
swollenness. The redness of the gum tissues will disappear after
several more weeks of healing and will become normal and healthy.

The use of
the laser is instrument in the treatment of the cardiac patient or those
patients on
anticoagulant therapy such as coumadin.
2.) Frenectomy
Procedure Completed with Laser
These pre-op pictures display a pronounced frenum
which is in
need of removal to allow orthodontic completion of the case.

This is a 1 week post-op of the area
following the frenectomy. Following several months of
healing, the area blends in beautifully with a
very cosmetic result.

These procedures usually take less than 30 minutes and are essentially
painless with the use of the Wand Anesthetic Device. There is minimal
postoperative discomfort.
